Podiatrist - Birmingham Priory Hospital

Podiatric Rx's Birmingham base is at the BMI Priory Hospital which is located in Edgbaston Birmingham.

The clinic is held in the Physiotherapy outpatients building at the Priory which is ideal for close collaboration with the Priory Physiotherapy team.

Mark also has excellent working relationships with his Orthopaedic colleagues in the sub specialty areas of foot & ankle and knees problems ensuring expert opinion for surgical intervention where indicated.
The facilities at the BMI Priory Hospital include a dedicated rehabilitation gym and treadmill which provide an excellent environment for gait analysis and lower limb structural screening.

A number of patients have concurrent treatment with the Physiotherapy team at the Priory and this allows effective communication between Podiatry and Physiotherapy to optimise the clinical outcomes in particular conditions.

Mark also works closely with external Physiotherapy teams and Sports Physicians across the region when dealing with specific foot / ankle and knee problems.

The unit has access to Shockwave (ECSWT) which is an effective treatment tool for acute and chronic heel pain and tendon problems and also has a dedicated imaging unit on site.
